PRICES AND TAX

Please note that the prices on our  website are guide prices only. The actual price you pay will be the price charged at the time your order is picked for delivery. The actual order value cannot be determined until the day of delivery because the prices stated on the website may vary either above or below the prices in store on the day your order is delivered. When your order is delivered you may return any item and receive a full refund if you consider that the difference between the price charged and the guide price shown on the website is unacceptable.

All prices are inclusive of Tax where applicable as per the Union Tax Law of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.The price of the items does not include the service charge which will be charged at the rates applicable to the date, time & province of your delivery. The service charge will be unchanged despite of General Sales Tax increases.


AVAILABILITY

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you. Please note that we will attempt to deliver substitute items unless you request us not to do so.

Although we will always try to cater for your orders, an order of large quantities of a line would only be fulfilled at the discretion of the store. 


ACCEPTANCE

Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is only formed when we notify you that we have dispatched your order. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you.

To ensure availability of all our products customers may be limited to a maximum number of items.


MINIMUM ORDER CHARGE

In these terms and conditions:

Minimum Order Charge will be 40,000 MMK charged for one order that is placed on our website or application. Please note that You will not be eligible to place an order if your minimum basket charge is below 40,000 MMK.

Order Value means the value of the products in your order when you confirm your order.  Us, we, our etc. mean Metro Wholesale Myanmar Ltd.  You, your, yours etc. mean You, the customer. 

Unfortunately we can't combine separate orders once we have processed them, so please make sure you make any changes to increase your Order Value before you confirm your order.


DELIVERY

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form.

We will deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address.Our staff may carry your order into the kitchen or any place you requested,but only if: A.Our staff has your permission to entry and B.our staff believes that it is safe and practical to do as you request. We always reserve the right to deliver only to the main entrance of the delivery address.

Please note that we deliver goods only to specified regions within Myanmar. Delivery times will be agreed with you at the time of placing your order. 

You must sign when all the items are at your place.If in case,there is no one at the delivery address when we attempt to deliver, please note that our staff will leave notification of attempted delivery and you will have to contact our customer service center to re-arrange the delivery( see below for contact details).

In these circumstances, if we have to re-arrange to deliver the goods, a further charge may cost.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods in the agreed time, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Return Period

Customer can return goods (other than ultra-fresh and fresh goods) by notifying METRO within two (2) days from the day customer receive the goods.

 

Eligible Items

If product did not meet customer expectations, customer must initiate return process for all of temperature control products (such as Ultra Fresh, Fresh Food and Frozen Food) at the time of delivery (upon delivery). These items are prohibited to be returned after delivery.


Only Dry Food and Non-food will be considered for customer return within the time-frames described previous.

Return Conditions

Customers must have compelling reasons why they want to return their products. For METRO to entertain their request, the following conditions must be met. 

       Item has not been used, worn or washed and is in the same conditions in which it is received; 

       Label on item is still intact. 

       Item must be in their original packaging without any damage.

 

The final decision is at the discretion of METRO Wholesale Myanmar.



CANCELLATION

You can cancel or change any of your current orders when you get the confirmation call from our call center. Once the order has been confirmed the order will be picked and delivered to you. Alternatively you can call our Customer Services Hotline number on 091234567890  (local rate from mobiles). Please note that orders cannot be edited or cancelled by email.


PAYMENT

You can pay by Cash at the time of delivery of your order.


GENERAL

These Product Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Myanmar and any disputes will be governed by any competent courts in Yangon,Myanmar.


CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES

Please note that the Cheaper Alternatives on our website are suggested products to help you spend less. You have no obligation to select any alternative. There may be quality, size, health and ingredient differences between the products suggested. Guide price terms and conditions shall be applied.


COPYRIGHTS AND LABEL RIGHTS

In all its publications, the Company strives to observe the copyrights associated with the graphics, video sequences and texts used, or to use its own self-created graphics, video sequences and texts, or to offer graphics, video sequences and texts from the public domain.

The trade names and trademarks used in our Internet presence, which may be protected by third parties, are subject without restriction to the regulations associated with the applicable label rights and ownership rights of their respective registered owners. Simply because a trademark is mentioned, it should not be assumed that it is not protected by third-party rights.

The copyright for any published objects created by METRO shall remain the property of METRO. Any duplication or use of such graphics, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is prohibited without the explicit permission of METRO.
