METRO would like to impart a little trick to all chefs out there that’ll make for good tasting spaghetti. Come check it out!
Spaghetti is often seen as an important part of Italian food culture. It seems easy enough to cook, but there is a trick behind it. It’s adding salt. Some chefs think salting the water will make the spaghetti, so they skip it. But in reality, salting the water is your chance to season the spaghetti itself and keep branded dried spaghetti. When you cook bring water to boiling temperature and add salt. Check for the amount of water on package instructions, but the recommended salt ratio is 10 g salt per 1 L of water.
